Pay Rate: $18.54-$23.00 hourly
Status: Non-Exempt (Full-Time)
Hours: 40-50 hours per week
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Water Works Technician Level 1 is an entry-level position responsible for assisting in the maintenance, repair, operation, and construction of the Village of Cleves water distribution system. This position performs routine field duties under the supervision of the Water Maintenance Crew Leader, Water Superintendent, or designee. The position provides hands-on training and experience in water utility operations while developing the skills necessary for advancement within the department.
Work includes assisting with water system maintenance and repairs, meter reading, water quality activities, utility locating, grounds maintenance, emergency response, and related operational duties. Employees may also perform other duties as assigned in support of Water Works and Village operations.
